At its Biennial Conventions as well as Annual General Meetings, BPW Canada members occasionally approve Commendations for individuals and/or organizations that support our mission & mandate, & work to help move our agenda forward. On this page, we honour those that we commend.

Canadian Women's Foundation
Founded in 1991, the mandate of the Canadian Women's Foundation is to raise money& make grants to help stop violence against women& girls,& to build economic independence for women and their children. In 2005, the CWF launched an Investment Fund for Girls, to fund a broad range of holistic programs that will give girls the opportunity to grow up to be  economically self-sufficient, free from violence, & strong contributors to society, in other words, to reach their optimal potential and competency.
BPW Canada 1st Vice-president Sue Calhoun presented the Commendation to representatives of the Canadian Women's Foundation. From the left, Leigh Natarkach & Jill Andrews, members of the CWF Vanguard youth donors group; Sue Calhoun; Bev Wybrow, CWF Executive Director; & Margot Franssen, CWF Co-President.
